Cookies policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

This Cookies policy describes which cookies and similar technologies SnipeIT uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage your consent. Anything beyond strictly necessary cookies is only set once you have consented.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device while you use the site. Among other things they let us remember your session and preferences, and analyse traffic.

Legal basis

Necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (the site working correctly). The remaining categories (analytics, marketing, functional) are only set on the basis of your freely given consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time.

1. Necessary (always on)

Cookies required for the site to work, for logging in, for security and for remembering basic settings. They can't be switched off, because without them the site wouldn't work properly.

2. Analytics (off by default)

These let us analyse how the site is used, e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo. They help us improve the service. Set only after you consent.

3. Marketing (off by default)

Used to personalise ads and track user activity, e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads. Set only after you consent.

4. Functional (off by default)

Remembering your preferences, language, interface settings and so on. Set only after you consent.

Managing consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings (deleting, blocking). Restricting cookies may affect how the site works.

How long consent lasts

Your decision is remembered for up to 6 months. After that we will ask for consent again. We record the date of consent and the categories chosen.
